This notice describes how LIMEN IP (Juan Pablo Llano Ceballos, hereinafter "LIMEN IP" or "the data controller") collects, uses, and protects the personal data of visitors to this site and of those who fill out the contact form, in compliance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013.
1. Data controller

2. Data collected
Through the contact form, data such as name, firm or company, email address, and the description of the case or inquiry that the data subject chooses to share is collected. No sensitive data (health, biometric data, political affiliation, among others) is requested, and data subjects are asked not to include this type of information in the message field.
3. Purpose of processing
Data is used exclusively to respond to the contact request, assess the nature of the case or inquiry, and — if the data subject authorizes it as the relationship continues — manage the provision of the technical services offered by LIMEN IP. Data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes unrelated to this relationship.
4. Confidentiality of technical case information
When the relationship moves beyond the initial contact, technical information about inventions, processes, or case documents is handled confidentially. When required, a specific confidentiality agreement can be put in place before exchanging sensitive technical documentation.
5. Your rights as a data subject
As the owner of your personal data, you have the right to:
- Know, update, and correct your personal data.
- Request proof of the authorization given for the processing of your data.
- Be informed about how your personal data has been used.
- File complaints with Colombia's Superintendency of Industry and Commerce (SIC) for violations of data protection regulations.
- Revoke your authorization and/or request the deletion of your data, when no legal or contractual duty prevents it.
- Access your personal data free of charge.
6. How to exercise your rights
You can exercise any of these rights by writing to jpllanoc@gmail.com, clearly stating your request. A response will be provided within the timeframes established by applicable law.
7. Cookies and analytics
This site currently does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics tools. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect it.
8. Validity and changes to this notice
This notice is effective as of its last update date, shown at the top of this page. LIMEN IP may amend it to reflect changes in its practices or in applicable regulations; substantial changes will be reflected with a new update date.
